auto update dosnt work

xp home with sp2, in the settings auto update is on, in the
tray it says it isnt on.

when i go manually to the update page i get the error nr
0x80070424

is there a solution?

thx but dosnt work

if i try to install i get an error that the installed
version is newer than the just downloaded version, i dont
get the option to install it.

any other suggestions?

btw the link dosnt work anymore, so i needed to use the
search function, also in the results is the not working link...
