auto update doesn't seem to work

i seem to have a problem getting the antispyware to
update. When the update process starts it just seems to
freeze up and not work. I have to end the program to fix
the problem. Any ideas?
 
Did the Error report dialog pop up asking you to send it in? You always do
Check For Updates. File > Check For Updates.
