auto switch off

i have xp home sp2. can i set my screensaver to run for a certain length of
time and then set my computer to switch off automatically after another
period of time? if so, how?

There is many ways to shutdown using schedule tasks. Like a bat file. But
WinOff program is very good. It has many options including to take a
screenshot of desktop before shutdown and it is just 452kb to download.
