We have the options set up to auto spell check when sending an email,
however, I have a user who insists they were able to set up an option within
Outlook so that while composing an email if there is an unspelled word its
indicated similar to word with the squigly red line under the word in
question. Does anyone know of this option or a way to enable this?

Not sure what you mean by an "unspelled" word - do you mean a word that's
been spelled incorrectly? In Outlook 2003 my emails automatically put a red
squiggly line under any word it deems to be spelled incorrectly when set up
under Tools/Options/Spellings.

Here's something I found that might apply-- "When you're using Microsoft Word
as your e-mail editor, AutoCorrect works on messages in HTML, Outlook Rich
Text (RTF), or plain text format. When you're using the Outlook e-mail
editor, AutoCorrect works on RTF or plain text messages only." Office Help
