Auto Scroll in the sidebar of my website???

How do I add a scrolling feature to a sidebar on my website? I'm not sure if
I'm clear with the description of what I'm looking for. I've seen this
feature on several websites. It looks like a text box that scrolls from top
to bottom automatically and when you place your cursor on the text, the text
stops moving.

Please help with this. Thank you.

It's probably a dhtml or javascript scrolling area or region (depending upon
who writes the script). You should be able to find some scripts to do this
at javascript.internet.com and www.dynamicdrive.com . Look for scrolling
region as a starting point and go from there depending on the features you
want.
