Auto resize, auto realign, auto ANYTHING driving me crazy

Please can anyone tell me how to turn of ALL auto editing features in
powerpoint. Any time I insert a picture, text, equation or click return
something gets auto mangled.

Go to the Tools menu and choose AutoCorrect options. Unchecking things
there (in the first two tabs) should get rid of most of what you want.
