How do I turn on the feature that remembers items like an
email address each time a screen comes up and asks for
it. I know it sort of has a memory like the address bar
in explorer where you can scroll down to items previously
entered in that field.

Sounds like your talking about AutoComplete. Go to Internet Options,
Content tab, in the Personal information area click on AutoComplete. There
you will can check WebAddresses, Forms and Usercode Passwords.

Go to TOOLS AT THE TOP CHOOSE INTERNET OPTIONS,THEN CLICK
ON THE CONTENT TAB and the bottom you should see a box
called AUTO COMPLETE,click on it and put a check in each
desired box.
