Auto Opening Of Files

When I download pdf files and the open them it always open in Word. How can I
stop this happening as I wish them to open in Adobe

Find one with Windows Explorer, right click on it and select "open with" and
then "choose program". Pick adobe acrobat and check the box that states
"always use the selected program to open this type of file".
