We have a couple of AD logons for temp accounts. For example HRtemp which is
used by temporary staff working in our personnel dpt, and Marktemp which is
used by temporary staff in our Marketing dept. When somebody starts using
one of these accounts I rename the account details and the display name with
the temp's actual name. Occassionally a temp moves from one dept to another
(eg. From working in HR to Marketing) in which case I enter their details on
the new logon and rename their previous logon for someone else. However,
here is the problem, when people go to email a temp who has moved departments
the auto lookup picks up her original exchange account (ie. HRtemp) and not
the new account (Marktemp). The sender then has to manually delete the old
lookup entry so that it picks up the temp's new account. If you are still
with me, I would like to know if it is possible to somehow get round this
problem so that when people type in the temp's name it picks up the correct
exchange account for them.
