auto logout

after applying latest patches and rebooting - when trying
to log on get error mesage
"problem preventing windows from accurately checking
licence for this computer Error code:0x8004005"
and then get loged off.

how can i correct this - log on to uninstall the SP's?

Try the following. Boot the system, start tapping F8, at the menu select
"Last Known Good Configuration" and press enter. If that doesn't work, do
the same thing but this time choose Safe Mode and press enter.

Once in Safe mode, go to start/run, and type

regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll

OK, then,

regsvr32.exe licdll.dll
