How do I get auto logon back?

Run "control userpasswords2"

Or download Microsoft's TweakUI.

Start | Run, type "control userpasswords2" Select the account you want
to logon to automatically. Then uncheck the box "Users must enter a
user name and password to use this computer."

Or do the same thing with TweakUI.

I believe you can do this via "Tweak UI" . Simply google it and download this
powertoy. I've use this to do exactlt what you seek. It also has other useful
Tweaks.

Can this be done through the control panel? I can't get "control
userpasswords2" to run.

Then it's highly likely that you spelled something wrong. Be sure to
remove the quotation marks, for example.

Or download and use TweakUI.
