Auto login console after RD disconnects

Hello.

As you know, connecting via Remote Desktop disconnects the console,
showing the Login screen.

What I want to do is get the console to automatically reconnect to the
desktop as soon as the remote desktop connection is finished.

The PC being controlled is normally not used interactively, but just
shows large messages on a TV screen. I need to use Remote Desktop to
andminister it, but I can't depend on a user to log back in via the
keyboard after I am done.

Ideas?

There is no way of doing this other than a lot of intense
scripting/programming a service to autologon after you logoff...

Jeffre,

Thanks, so much, for answering my question. I don't mind programming a
service, and have some experience both with services and scripting.
However, can you point me toward an API that I can use to cause a
logon. That is where I am stuck.

Thanks,
Soundman
