please note i made a previous post regading "auto fill not working " a few
weeks ago but nothing kindly suggested by jon kennedy helped . i placed
another reminder entry there today
i am using xp pro with ie 6 with autocomplete boxes ticked . i am being
asked by windows if i want to continue remembering passwords etc but despite
clicking yes and then putting user names and passwords into to various
websites nothing is being remembered .
windows has recently been reinstalled on a new hard drive and my ram
increased substantially .
apologies for making a second post but i am frustrated in keeping inserting
information that was remembered before .
many thanks

You may have a corrupt Registry key.
If you're familiar with working in the Registry, try deleting
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Intelliforms\SPW
