Auto FE Update

Murray

Dear all
One of our users is set up with VISTA (64 Bit version)and it appears that
the Auto FE Updater 1.7 is not working. It comes up with a message "not
allowed into system right now". I have had to change the file association on
the mdb file as it had both Access and Autocad, with Autocad being the
primary and therefore wanting to open using Autocad. This however did not fix
the problem.
I did try a previous version of Auto FE Updater (1.69) and it says that it
can not find the mdb file on our mapped network drive. This same file works
on all other computers, just not on the Vista machine.
Thanks

Bob, you're amazing...

For two days I had been thinking of a way to do this and **bam** there you
send the link!
It works outstandingly great (although I'd suggest some minor improvements)
and saves a lot of time. Moreover, it changes completely your experience
towards access; no more "errr... the tech guy has sent a new version of his
stupid database... geee..."!

Thanks! ;)

Version 1.73 is the first version which works with Windows Vista
although 1.74 is the current version. I'd suggest upgrading and
seeing what happens.

I'm wondering if updating to the latest version solved your problem?
