Auto Expand help needed

Ok, I have been trying for two days now to turn this thing off and you guys have helped me and I appriate it. The only problem is your help isn't working much. You keep telling me to go to design mode and the combo box and stuff but I have no clue where to find ANY of this at. It would mean so much to me if someone can just walk me through this in a step by step procedure or tell me how to open up the design mode and combo box or something. If it helps I am running IE6 on Windows XP. Thank you.
 
Design mode / combo box sounds like another program- not Internet Explorer.
I can't find a previous post on this. What problem are you trying to solve?
