Auto Expand

I used to be able to type the first few characters in my combo box and auto
expand would automatically fill in the remaining characters. Now that I've
switched to 2003, I can only enter the first character, then have to scroll
down to find my selection. How do I fix this?--

Where do I do this? I can't see cangrow in the property box, or auto expand
for that matter.

Right click on the combo and look in properties.

Are you certain that you are using a Combo Box, or are you perhaps using a
Listbox? Each keystroke in a listbox jumps to the first row starting with that
letter, rather than autocompleting like a combo.

Do be sure that your combo's Auto Complete property (not the Can Grow) is set
to yes, and that you don't have any VBA code that might be interfering (the
Change event for instance).

Right click on the combo and look in properties.

It is in fact "Auto Expand" - it's on the Data tab. "Can Grow" applies to
printing sections or textboxes.
