Auto except calendar Invites when outlook is closed

Is there a way to configure outlook2000\exchange to auto except calendar
invites when outlook is closed. I can used the auto except feature in
resource options in calendar, but it wont auto except when outlook is closed?
trying to find another way from using it as a resource.

this is a regular user email box but is not opened all the time.

outlook 2000 \exchange 2k

Yes, by adding a delegate to keep their computer running and handle acceptances when yours is off.
