Auto download new email

When opening email it outlook it should auto download new emails without
hitting the send/receive button. But now when i open outlook it wont do that
auto download and i have to hit the send/receive button to get my emails. is
there are feature somewhere that turns this on and off.

Set an automatic send/receive interval and it will do what you want.
However, exactly how is version-specific and you decided mentioning your
Outlook version was unimportant.
