Auto-disconnect

Hello,
Does the auto disconnect actually work over time when using Windows 2000 Pro
as a standalone computer?

Auto-disconnect only appears to work for a short time before ceasing to
function.
I have auto-disconnect set to 15 in:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters
I want to limit the idle time of connected users to 15 minutes on a
permanent basis

I am going to do a clean install this weekend just in case I already messed
something up trying to get this to work.
Does anything else have to be configured?

Auto-disconnect is not working at the present, can anyone offer any
suggestions?
Looking at the "Sessions folder" in Computer management, I have 5 "users"
listed as still connected with the idle time to be more than 15 minutes.

I did a clean install W2K Pro, the default auto-disconnect time happens to
be 15 minutes.
I read article 138365 and the auto-disconnect value is already set.
Does a Service need to be started so this becomes functional???
