Auto disconnect does not appear

Would anyone know how to get "Auto Disconnect" to appear in IE6.1 with the
service pak?
I have done the control panel and clicked the "Disconnect if not needed",
but nothing happens when I shut down IE. I have also tried unchecking it and
rebooting and then checking it again, all to no avail.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Try unchecking 'Enable idle disconnect' on the same settings tab.

If that doesn't work view your tasks list (ctrl+alt+del on most win
computers) and look for IExplore.exe. If it is still running after you have
closed all IE windows then you may have some spyware on your machine that is
keeping your connection open.

This is only a guess. Please reply on this thread.
