Auto Delete Obsolete ShortCuts

I have two machines linked by a hardwired Ethernet LAN. My WinXP-pro
machine under "My Network" displays (as still being available for
sharing) many directories on my Win-XP-home machine that no longer
exist. I want to delete them because they cause confusion. If I try to
open them, I get the message, "directory xyz is not available." If I
right click on them, "delete" is not an option. How do I delete these
now obsolete short cuts to these now non-existent directories? Is there
a way to automatically survey my entire hard drive and automatically
delete links to no where?
