auto complete

Auto Complete doesn't seem to be working in one of my spreadsheets. I have
the button checked to enable it, but can't seem to get it to function. Any
suggestions?
 
Hi,

Are you leaving gaps (empty cells) in the column? Auto complete doesn't like
that
