auto-complete

I have auto-complete turned on but it will not remember user names or passwords or web addresses, what can I do?
 
Try asking in an Internet Explorer group as they might know the answer.
Also include IE Version and SP's you've installed in your posting.

Do you have "User names and passwords on forms" & "Prompt me to save
passwords" checked under Tools->Options->Content->AutoComplete?

yes I have it all turned on, it prompts if I want to remember info and I check yes but it does not retain the info
