auto complete

I have a combo box that is set to auto complete. It works fine until
I close the database and then reopen. Upon reopen the auto complet
stops working. I have not been able to get the auto complete to wor
again.

Are you referring to AutoExpand option for a combo box (where, as you type
letters, the textbox portion of the combo box shows the first matching value
from the dropdown list)? Did you check to be sure that the combo box still
has a value of Yes for that property (open the form in design view, select
the combo box, "right-click" on the box and select Properties, and click on
Data tab to check that property.
