Auto Complete Problems

I just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003 and don't seem to be able to get the Auto-Complete feature to work. I am typing the names into the TO/CC & BCC fileds and nothing happens. I am trying this in the "New Mail Message" window that opens, when I click on that icon. Is this the right place I assume? I type in a name I know is in my Outlook Address Book and nothing happens. I had trouble intitally with my Outlook Address Book, so that I deleted it and created a new one. Address Book works fine. All my contacts seem to be in there. The check mark for the Auto-Complete option is also on in the E-Mail options menu. Any ides or suggestions ? Thanks.

How many messages have you sent? Autocomplete uses a cache of names created
from messages you have sent, not your Address Book.

Your responses are not adequate. How is this problem fixed and how do you prevent it from happening again. I had two to three years of email addresses that I used on a regular basis. It just isn't so easy for us layman users to understand what cache is and how outlook all of a sudden loses data.

What problem?
You failed to include any information in your message and the thread is dead
long ago.
