Auto Accept - meeting requests

I recently created a resource calendar in AD and set the calendar to "Auto
Accept" all meeting invites.

It seems to work, except when someone forwards a meeting request to that
calendar, it will not accept it automatically.

Anyone have an idea why or perhaps, a workaround?

I went to Tools > Options > Calendar Options (under the General Tab) >
Resource Scheduling > checked the options to accept/decline meeting requests.
