I've got two XP Home computers on a home network. They're connected to each
other and the internet using an SMC broadband router. Neither computer can
view the My Documents folder on the other computer. Each computer can get
anywhere on the other computer, but access is denied to the My Documents
folder. I've made sure sharing is turn on for these folders. Each computer
is set up with the same two users, both users are administrators. ICF is
turned off on both machines. Can anyone help with this one? Thanx in
advance.

Have you tried putting "my Documents" into shared documents?

WinXP HE doesn't allow you to share the My Documents folder. Make a
different folder for sharing your files.

Besides which 'My Documents' is a purely imaginary (virtual) folder -
what it points at depends on who you are logged in as. (i.e. one minute
is can be c:\documents and settings\<user1>\my documents, and a couple
of minutes later it can be <user2>s folder.
