Authorisation Required

Hi all,

I get onto this website and get on a link that, for all
intent purposes, is allowed to all public. I got the
following message:

Authorization Required
This server could not verify that you are authorized to
access the document requested. Either you supplied the
wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser
doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

----------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.23 Server at 127.0.0.1 Port 80

I know that the access of this link is opened to all and
does not require password. I encountered this problem a
few times in various websites before. How can i overcome
this?

Thanx in advance.

Suzanne, can you post a link to the website and tell us which link you mean
or else post the link itself, there seems to be something odd about the fact
that Apache is announcing itself at 127.0.0.1

Also which version of IE are you using (hitting help>about) will tell you
for sure.

Do you have any popup ad blocking software installed or anything else that
is designed (or claims) to improve your privacy, this information may help
someone answer you better.
