Authentication failed

I have three Operamail email addresses.
When I added another email address yesterday that address doesn't function .
.. . Authentication failed is what I get when I go to Read the emails.
I have the setup details correct (checked and re-checked) as for the other
addresses, which work ok.
I've tried different email addresses and passwords in the setup but still
authentication failed. So what may be wrong?
(I'm trying Operamail because I'm getting error 0x800CCC92 and 0x800CCC90
with my Windows Mail.)
