Aurora won't work as default screensaver?

I followed the steps yesterday to make Aurora my default screensaver for the
username screen but instead I got a message after 10 minutes saying the
screensaver needs DirectX 3D to work properly. I updated to DirectX 10 and it
didn't work, then I got DirectX 9.0c and checked 3D was enabled and still
nothing. What's the problem here? Is it my graphics card?

Click Start, type DXDIAG and hit enter. The Driver tab is going to tell you
if Direct3D is 'enabled' or not.
If not, using 'Update Driver' in Device manager may get you what you need.
