what is CDDA and how to enable it

CDDA= Compact Disc Digital Audio That is a file system that Windows cannot
understand, which is why you see the 44 byte "pointers". To play the tracks on
the PC they must be converted to WAV files, or one of the popular lossy formats
such as AAC or MP3.

Or a non-lossy flavour of WMA, FLAC etc
