Audio Splitter

Is there a software app that will split the audio from a CD / DVD / movie ?
App to create sound tracks only without the Video ?

I am playing old vinyl records, 45's, and recording them to digital format.
But the hard ware / software / auto creates a Video portion which is blank.

What do you use to only split the Audio ?

You can hook up your turntable to the PC via phono leads and record into
Adobe Audition or SoundForge. These are audio programs which can take out
hiss and pops of vinyl. These cost money though!
If you have InstantCD+DVD try the InstantMusic software that comes with
that. I havn't used that software before so I'm not sure exactly what
capabilities it has.

If you can't get any of these then try looking for a free software package
at: www.freefunfiles.com and search for 'audio editing'. There might be
something there.

Use software such as Audio DVD Ripper.
