Hi: I'm running XP Home with all the latest updates. Until a month ago
my audio worked perfectly but now it stutters! At the time I think I
installed a program and then uninstalled it. This doesn't seem to be an
internet problem as it happens on startup with the Windows Startup Theme
which stops and starts. On streaming audio, eg BBC stuff, it eventually
works properly. I've checked everything I can think of but Windows says
it is all working properly. It sounds as if the buffering doesn't work,
but would that affect the playing of .wav files? Regardless, does any
one have ideas?
Thanks, bye, Donald

Find the manufacturer of your audio card/chipset, go to their website,
download the latest driver, and re-install the driver.

John
