Audio playing too fast since win2000 install

Looks like I am not the only one with the problem. Has
anyone come up with the fix? Have tried all trouble
shooting tips within WIN2000. Have tried older version of
Media Player - still same problem.

You can adjust the speed in Windows Media Player.

Play Menu
Play Speed

-or-

View menu
Enhancements
Play Speed Settings

Range -16 (slowest) to +16 (fastest)

1.0 is normal.
