Audio on HP dv8000 laptop under Vista x64

I've got the sound card working on my HP laptop with a Conexant AC-Link
adapter now... what I ended up having to do was install the ATI Integrated
Digital Audio 64 bit beta driver, and then reboot and turn off the "enforce
driver signing" option during boot to complete the install.

This may help the other people who are having trouble with Vista x64 and the
sound on their HP or Compaq laptops, since most of them seem to be a Conexant
sound card.

I haven't had a chance to start working on my other problem yet, which is
that I'm getting some very strange video flickering before certain windows
pop up, in particular the user access pop up. Any ideas?

What build are you using?
Have you rebooted since you disabled "enforce driver signing"?

Last I heard, there was no way to do that and have it stick.

Which method did you use?

I have not yet rebooted. Build 5600.

I unpacked the driver, browsed to the location of the driver files, after
being told the driver couldn't install, rebooted and disabled "enforce driver
signing"
