Audio Level Control

A number of times I have added narration to my presentations but the volume
level is too low (even at Max output). What is the correct process to ensure
adequate audio output is achived . Is it controlled by level setting of
microphone during recording ? If so should I set it to Low or medium or high ?

PowerPoint uses the Windows default settings for audio recording. If you go
to Accesories - Entertainment - Sound Recorder you can make the needed
adjustments.
