audio device not working

Hello,

I have formatted my computer.It has windows xp
professional after formatting audio device is not
recognised.I saw the sounds and audio in control panel in
that its displayed as "no audio devic".Please help me
solving this.

Have you loaded all the drivers? The motherboard usually comes with
drivers for all devices. I would have thought XP would have been able
to load at least a generic driver that works.
