Audio burps

I'm new to Moviemaker and when I saved to my computer, it
gave me numerous selections. I wanted to make a DVD so I
selected the best file I could find...I believe it was DV-
AVI. Everything worked OK video wise except some of the
audio had noticeable popping when played through DVDit
software...although it doesn't seem to exist on the
original. Anyone with any ideas?

every mm2 i have made has noise burpps when made into dv-avi.

what i do is long winded but works. i edit my movie with sound (to get right lengths). then mute all the music. ( or cut it).
save as dv-avi (no sound). then import dv-avi into DVD maker (mine is windvd)
and add all my music then. i think the problem is when the conversion is taking place the music seems to clip at all the transitions, but i may be wrong.
