ATTENTION WINSLOW!!! IE6 Full Download

I did try replying to your previous post and I really do
want to help you out with this. However, for some damn
reason, my replies were not showing up no matter how many
times I tried to re-post them. Hopefully you can see
this one.

Here is what I found about how to download the full IE6
SP1 packages for later use.

I recommend doing it this way:

I recommend this way because the downloads come directly
from MS and you
have the option of downloading IE6 SP1 for several
versions of Windows at
once including WinNT, Win98, WinME, 2K, and XP. And if
you read everything
in the second link I provided, you should be able to do
exactly what you
wanted to do in the first place... which is to just burn
the files to a CD
and take it to whatever computer you need to install it
on. Just as long as
the computer is running one of the OSes that this
download method supports.
To tell you the truth, I just found out about this today
by reading some of
the newer posts in this very newsgroup. I will probably
have some use for
this technique as well.
