Attempting to Send Too Large a File

My brother has attempted to send a file with 25 pictures
attached (a proud new grandparent). Of course, Outlook
Express wouldn't let him, but now, the computer freezes
up whenever he tries to delete the massive message from
the outbox folder. I had him uncheck the "send/receive
at startup" , but I am otherwise at a loss of what to
suggest. Could he delete the outbox folder and then
recreate it? Other ideas?

I am having the same issue, were you able to resolve the
issue?

Not yet. But I am going to try renaming or deleting the
outbox.dbx file (Quit OE; right click Start, then Find or
Search; search for outbox.dbx file;rename/delete it;
restart OE). I will probably rename first, just in case
this is a big misktake. I will let you know.
