Attempt to download & install new software result in Error 1327

I am trying install Microsoft Photo Story 3 for Windows XP. After the
download completes, the system begins to install it. But it always results
in this error indicating invalid Drive Y:\. At this moment a drive Y:\ is
not in use. Apparently the system is looking to install onto this drive, but
why, and how to solve this.

This happens with all kinds of other software and it not a fault of Photo
story.

resulting from your
antiviral software.

try disabling them
first.
