I have a E-Mail Fax machine that will be sending Faxes
converted into E-Mail Messages using the *.tif attachment
file for the Fax.

When they come into my Inbox I have to right click on the
message and then select "view attachments" and then click
on the image and it opens in "Windows Picture and Fax
Viewer".

How can I get this attachement to open just by double
clicking on the message in the Inbox. I am trying to
shorten the steps to doing this.

When the message is sitting in the Inbox I want to double
click on it and have it open up in the Picture and Fax
Viewer so I can quickly see the fax with just 1 step!!

Does anybody know how to do this??

Thanks

Joe

I am using Outlook 2002.

I don't get any error. It just opens the e-mail with the
Attachment to click on to open. When you double click on
the message I want the attachment to open, but the only
thing that opens is the message then you have to double
click on the attachement to open it.

I do have preview pane turned on, but the attachment does
not show up in it. You have to double click on the
attachement file to get it to open up.

you can't open attachments just by opening the messages, you will always
need to also open the attachment. It's a security risk otherwise and Outlook
doesn't allow it.
