I have a computer that was given to me by my father-in-
law. When I send an attachment (my resume in MS Word
format), the receiver is getting the attachment as a
winmail.dat file instead of the .doc file I sent. What
can I do to get my attachments to stay in the correct
format? I'm job hunting and it's a real problem because
people can't open my attached resume.

Thanks!

Lanwench,
I've got the same problem (sending an attachment in Outlook 2000 between (2)
Exchange 2000 servers) with attachments (.jpg)s coming across as winmail.dat
files. I've modified settings to reflect Plain text of HTML to no avail.
Any other ideas? Thanks!

Curt
