Attachments change in Outlook

Hi
I have a client who, everytime they send an attachment in Outlook 2003, it
is changed to a winmail.dat file. Whether it is a spreadsheet or .pdf, they
all seem to change into this winmail .dat. How can I fix this?

Are they sending in the Outlook default format of Rich Text Format to a
non-Outlook User? That's the most common cause of this problem. If so, get
them to change the Email format to either HTML or Plain Text and see if that
cures it.
