Attachments and Links

When using the server based email such as hotmail, Windows
is not allowing me to open or download attachments. Is
there some way I can turn off whatever is preventing me
from getting said attachments?

Also, when I'm trying to post links to my tripod site; I
get a message from Windows saying that I'm not using a
valid address. The address IS valid as it works when I put
it in the browser to go there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

In OE - Tools>Options>Security - uncheck 'Do not Allow attachments to be saved...'. If you do uncheck that security measure, please make sure that you virus check all attachments before opening them.
