attachment location

How do you configure Outlook to put an attachment into the address area?

there are times when the attachment goes into a form field just below the
subject field. I like it there and not in the text area, but can not figure
out how to make it happen consistantly (you know the story: when it happens
you don't remember exactly what you did just before it happens kind of thing).

It depends on your message format. RTF shows attachments inline.

Make sure you are not using Rich Text format but HTML or Plain Text.
