Attachment is not showing - Roady

Dear Roady,
Thanks for the previous help, the nick name I found with
the tool.
Now I have a different issue, One user send a .pdf
attachment to another user but attachment icon is not
showing. Both the clients are using outlook97(office97).

Hi Anver,

Good to hear!

With what message type is this happening? Try using Plain Text and send the
pdf-attachment. How does the mail arrive now?

Hi Roady,

Both the clients are using plain text, but I heard some
where, when your email editor is word then may activate
picture place holder...........(I don't remember
wordings....can you guess - I doubt this is the problem ?

I have to admit that it is hard troubleshooting OL97 as it's been a while
and lots have changed.

Having Word as the e-mail editor shouldn't make a difference but as you are
sending Plain Text you might as well use Outlook as the editor.

If you check the properties of the e-mail does the size inditace that it
holds an attachment? Check it on both sender and receiver side.
