Attachment Field

How do I get the attachment field to show up when printing an email? I don't
want to print the attachments themselves, but just the field to show that
attachments were sent with the email. Thank you.

Edit the message and change its format to Plain Text and then when it prints
it should show the attachment name.

If you are using Outlook 2003, all you have to do is download "Service Pack
1," and it will solve all your problems with showing the list of attachments.

Thanks, but I am unable to edit a message I received from some one else. I
can edit my outgoing message to plain, but that is not the issue.

You have to open the message by double clicking on it, not try to work
on it in the Reading Pane. Then, open the Edit menu and select Edit
Message.

Sarge, when I open up the email sent to me in a separate window by double
clicking on it and then select edit message, I am still unable to show the
attachment field (or an icon of the attachment) when I print the email.

Whatya got for me now?

Try changing the format of the message to plain text before printing
and your attachment names should print.
