Attachment error

I'm new to Vista. I've set up my Windows email account and can send regular
emails but cannot send a message with any type of attachment whether it be a
small word doc or photo. Get the following error Thanks for the help!

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'test', Account: 'incoming.verizon.net', Server:
'outgoing.verizon.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

this is not a reply to ur help but i have a question for you, could u please
help?

here is my question!

i wanted window mail for my yahoo account
i put in pop.mail.yahoo.com as incoming and the smpt.mail.yahoo.com for my
outgoing
i also tried .au on both
everytime i tried a send and recieve all i get are continual windows vista
verification screens and everytime i fill in a yahoo account password i get
a new screeen

please help me!

Sounds like you don't pay for the Plus account, so you don't have access to
the POP & SMTP servers.

That type of problem is usually caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons
explained here:

If no improvement after disabling email scanning, consider upgrading
to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects
from overly intrusive antivirus programs:
