Attaching Files to fax

Is there a way to attach multiple (say word) files to a fax using the fax
built in to XP Home?

No.
The option is only available if you fax from Outlook.

There are a couple alternatives to Outlook:

- If you have Office XP, go to Microsoft Office Tools/Microsoft Office
Document Scanning - this will prepare a multipage single document from
multiple documents which can be printed to fax.
- Adobe Acrobat's Import can scan documents to a single file then print to
fax.
